     Mary Mageau’s idea of a Library for Samford began alongside Julie Martin and Wendy Sonnenburg.

    The Library started in a private garage shed.

    The idea developed from a simple “drop and swap” model to the present day specialised reference & Australian author focused Library.

    2015 Community Library Samford is born

    Volunteers of Samford Community Library Facebook page began as a closed page and in February changed to Volunteers of Samford Commons Community Library.

    First fund raising effort through the Wellbeing Forever Festival in John Scott Park.

    Activities included a recycled books craft table and story telling.

    A total of 23 members recorded.

    First bags sewed by volunteers for Samford Support Network Book Swap program.
